AB Agri ---- The new name for ABNA
Welcome to the new face of the Agriculture Group of Associated British Foods plc. Today
the ABNA name changed to AB Agri.
The name change is essentially because our research identified that customers and
business partners struggle to immediately understand what ABNA is and what it does. There
is also continuing confusion in the UK between ABNA and its ABN pig and poultry division.
The logical decision was to call the Group business AB Agri, which together with the strap
line Associated British Agriculture, clearly indicates our industry. It also builds on the
recognition we already have with our email address (any.other@abagri.com), our website
(www.abagri.com) and our parent Associated British Foods plc.
The new logo is perhaps the most dramatic change from where we were. The 6 strand
rainbow reflects the 6 core business areas going forward. - ABN (pig and poultry
compound feed), Speciality Feeds which includes the Primary Diets business, KW/Trident
(ruminant alternative feed), AB Vista (feed micro-ingredients), China, and our arable
interests in Frontier, the JV with Cargill.
